      Strange to think of where the time goes – it’ll be 15 YEARS this March since I first reg’d with BM, and I’m not even one of the old hands.

      In an update, it emerges my mother has been taken to hospital for what is expected to be several days. There aren’t many details but my sis says it’s not serious. As of tonight I’ll be heading back to my hometown to help out while she’s on the mend; I was intending to visit her anyway.

      I’ve learned that Internet access will be patchy while I’m up North.

      Turns out my mom’s place has had wireless Internet access installed since the last time I was here. You lucky things. Go, mom!

      Anyway, I haven’t seen her yet but my sis says she’s doing fine, in good spirits, I’ll be taking some things in to her tomorrow.

      In an update, after a great deal of prepping and interviews, I am now a project coordinator with a major technology firm in my local area. It means not just a cool company name to add to my C.V., but also more money than I’ve ever earned before.

      I’d be happier not to make it public – I’ve put innocuous info out there before and had a nut I know track me down and contact me.
